Dear Artec,
I’m really nastied out by our catering service, I don’t think im the only one. Our food for lunch is usually dog food or flavorless. I know I’m not the only one who pretty much eats peanut butter and jelly for lunch every day. I live for the lunch on the weekends, if not I'd be looking like a starving child in Africa by now.

That's why you insert the food through either your eyes, ears, or nose so you don't have to taste it. You should try it.

So today I’m going to be telling you about what I’m doing for my phase 8 service project. So I have been making cookies for the girls unit, boys unit, the staff, and Linda, Sarah, and Vicki. I feel that it is something that I like to do which is baking, cooking and more. Also it feels good to be able to give to other people and not expect anything in return. So here is the recipe that I have deiced to make if you all would like to make some of your own sometime. This recipe makes about 30 cookies. So this is me teaching you that making cookies can be a great coping skill when you feel stressed, also if you just would like to just make things for people to just be nice.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 Tablespoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cup all purpose flour

2 cups Reese's pieces

1 cup milk chocolate chips

I can’t wait until Saturday because me and my family are going to a cabin in Rock Creek. For Memorial Weekend and I am coming back in two days and we will have a blast camping and with my dog Bella and riding fourwheelers and dirt bikes with my family and friends. We also are going fishing at a lake. We also are going to my new house on 6200w and cleaning it so we can move in to the new house. And we are going to work on my dad’s classic car.

This movie has viewers at the edge of their seat every second of the film because it is said to be the final film and because of the fact that it contains the most theatrical action scenes of all three movies. You will love every second of the Dark Knight Trilogy because of the manner the director is able to connect with the audience. This trilogy follows the life of the billionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne, who spends his nights disguised as a “bat figure” named Batman. This trilogy takes you through his journey of becoming not only someone who believes in justice itself, but rather fights for this moral to stand. It takes you on the battle for survival as the vigilante tries to stop the fanatical criminals who try and make the city of Gotham even more corrupt and who try to watch the metropolis with its people burn down. You will love every second of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy.

Summer...
Hey Artec it's almost summer. It’s time for no more school and time to have some fun and hang out with family and go swimming or go to the park and just have a simple picnic with your family or just go for a walk. I know I would want to because I have been locked up for a long time. It would be nice to get out and just talk and laugh and just have a good talk or walk. In the summer I’m going swimming an the Jordan Landing swimming pool. And another thing I’m going to do is go sky diving with my brother.

Hey I am Cody and this will be my first summer being sober is 5years so I say I am not sure how this will work out. I just do not want to say that I am going to be sober. I want to be sober for my family and me. I have two sisters that have seen me go downhill to hell and back.
I stared smoking weed then just got in to all kinds of drugs. I wish I stopped but I liked being high now I see that the high is not worth it. So this summer I want to have fun without drugs. I am an adrenaline junky so there are things that I need to be smart about and not be high. Most people think I am crazy, I am go cliff diving, sky diving, bungee jumping and I am going to an extreme sport race. But I just like to have fun and so that puts me in situations that make me want to be high to have more fun. Now I see that drugs just take your life from you and your morals.
I needed to ask for help. So I went to DT, O&A and Artec. There is a good place for help. You just need to want it. I just won’t people to know there are things to help you to be sober AA, NA, Artec, O&A, DT just ask for help.

I think that kids in our age group need to start listening to more of the classic bands from the 80’s and 90’s because as much as I am a 92.5 fan too, sometimes if you actually listen to the words of the songs, they are quite vulgar. I think that a lot of the music that is played on the radio these days has some kind of wrong message. For examples Ludacris Sex Room, I think that it is EXTREMLY sexist and boys who are reading this if you know this song, a respectable girl would never let you talk to them like that. Or Macklemore he is a great rapper but the next time you hear his song on the radio really listen to it and see how many drug references you can find, I bet you would be really quite surprised. Maybe some of the people you idolize aren’t exactly the people you think they are?

Dear Artec Men And Women

Well there is two weeks till the end of school. I can’t wait to be home with the FAM. I can start getting back into MMA and football. Plus I’m starting to get my home visits! This weekend I get my first four hour with my fam. I can’t wait! I hope when all of you guys get out and back to your family you can do well. When I go and walk around the campus I think about the times when I was free. It just makes me want to push harder to get out of this place. I hope that the other units are doing well. Just keep your head up and keep pushing to get what you want in this life.

So I’m going to write about my family, meaning my beautiful wife and my beautiful daughter. They are coming to see me this Saturday on the boys unit, it sucks that I can’t go off campus with them and go do fun stuff like, go to the park and take my girlfriend out to the movies. I don’t know fun stuff just to show my girlfriend that I can be the daddy that loves his family. I really do love both of my kids, but only one of them can come see me. I hate the fact that only one of them can come, the reason why is because my girl's daddy is being messed up to her. That’s one thing I will never do if me and my girl didn’t make it is keep my daughter away from her mother, she doesn’t deserve that. She is such a good mother and supporter to me and our family. I give her all my love, trust, loyalty, and the respect. For all she has done and doing as well for forgiving me for my mistakes and for me forgiving her for her mistakes, we all are not perfect. They say “the people “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger" and I feel we both have our strength to make the rest of our lives together. If you ever find someone as special as I did and you really love them and for some reason they did you wrong no matter if it is a boy or girl and you love them you would be willing to do anything to work things out. But if they messed up like all the times I did then you would leave them like my girl did to me, until they realize they lost something so wonderful. The best holiday I think is Memorial Day. The best part about it is the b17 I got to sit in a b-17. A b-17 (flying fortress) is or was a ww2 cargo and/or a troop aircraft. Well that explains every thing. My great grandfather was a pilot of the b-17. I was at the West Jordan regional airport
